The 2022 recipient of the FORTH/ICE-HT “Stratis Sotirchos Lectureship Award” is Professor Fengqi You, Smith School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Cornell University, USA.

Dr. You will receive his award in a special ceremony during the 13^th Panhellenic Chemical Engineering Conference on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras, and will deliver a lecture entitled “Multi-Scale Systems Analytics for Energy and Environmental Sustainability”.

FORTH/ICE-HT has created the “Stratis V. Sotirchos Award” to honor the memory of one of its most distinguished Researchers, Professor Stratis V. Sotirchos, FORTH/ICE-HT Research Director. The awardee is selected by a committee of internationally renowned scientists, on grounds of his/her original and fundamentally important results in chemical engineering sciences. The awardee must be younger than 40 years of age.
