The Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) will participate in the 71st Thessaloniki International Fair (kiosk 7) in cooperation with the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT). This year's theme is “Innovation”. The fair will be held September 8–17 2006.

The main research and technological applications, which will be presented, are the following:

• Fuel cells and advanced energy systems
• Universally Accessible Games: UA–CHESS & Access Invaders
• Robotic Platforms
• Tools and methodologies for handling spatial problems and datasets that can be used in regional, urban and environmental planning
• The project Digital Crete: Mediterranean Cultural Itineries
