Science and Technology Park of Crete elects new Board of Directors
Α newly elected Board of Directors of the Managing Company of the Science & Technology Park of Crete (EDAP/STEP-C S.A.) was appointed by the Regular General Assembly on August 28th, 2023 for a five-year term, and constituted into a Body on September 6th, 2023.
The Science and Technology Park of Crete (STEP-C) was founded by the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH) with the aim of utilizing the research and knowledge produced by the Academic and Research Centers of Crete and their interconnection with industry.
The composition of the new Board of Directors of EDAP/STEP-C S.A. is as follows:

A few words about EDAP/STEP-C S.A.
The Managing Company of the Science & Technology Park of Crete (EDAP/STEP-C S.A.) was founded in December 1993. Its share capital is €207,190.00 and the main shareholders are the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH) with a percentage of 32.29% and the Piraeus Bank with a percentage of 30.45%. The main activity of the company is the management and development of the Science & Technology Park of Crete (STEP-C) and the provision of specialized services to the established companies within the incubator of STEP-C. The community of STEP-C currently consists of 40 innovative companies, with approximately 400 employees. Most of them are highly knowledge-intensive companies and operate in the international business environment in cutting-edge sectors with high-added value for the economy.
