Την Κυριακή 25 Μαΐου 2008, στις 12:00 το μεσημέρι, στο αμφιθέατρο “Γιώργος Λιάνης” του Ίδρυματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας (ΙΤΕ), θα πραγματοποιηθεί η απονομή των Διακεκριμένων Προπτυχιακών Υποτροφιών του Ινστιτούτου Πληροφορικής του ΙΤΕ "Στέλιος Ορφανουδάκης".

Held regularly since 2001, the Astronomical Data Analysis (ADA) conference series is focused on algorithms, signal and data processing. The 5th ADA conference is co-organized by the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA/Saclay), the Institute of Computer Science of FORTH, the Departments of Physics and Computer Science of the University of Crete and it is sponsored by the European Space Agency. It will take place in Heraklion of Crete in Greece, on 7-9 May 2008.

On January 30?31, the High-Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation (HiPEAC) network of excellence met for its kick-off meeting in Göteborg, Sweden. The meeting was attended by 170 computing system researchers from all over Europe.
