The 2004 Lectures in Physics: Fields and Strings


The School is addressed to graduate students and young researchers in Theoretical High Energy Physics who are interested in recent advances in Field Theory and String Theory.

Many theoretical investigations during the last years have unravelled unexpected and far-reaching connexions between gauge theories and string theories and the School aims at introducing the students to this exciting field.

The programme will include a general introduction as well as specialized lectures by some among the world's leading experts.
