“Alkiviades Payatakes” Meeting Room is equipped with a wooden parallelogram 14 seater table placed in the center of the room, as well as, 23 seater tables in U shape, perimetrically. An extra table for coffee and snacks is placed outside the room.
The room is also equipped with a telephone, projector, and videoconferencing system.

Alkiviades Payatakes (1945-2009), was a distinguished scientist in the field of Transport Phenomena, with an expertise in Fluid Mechanics. He served as Professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Patras, and Director of the Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (1999-2006) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of FORTH (2006-2009).
